DISCLAIMERS

VARIOUS AND SUNDRY DISCLAIMERS

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY DISCLAIMER
All yoga presented by Piper Jay is to be done (or not done) at the discretion of the student.  All yoga is 100% voluntary.
It is important that each student honor that principle, their own organic rate of evolution, and their gut instinct (discernment).

All yoga techniques, exercises and sequences presented by Piper Jay are things that she either has direct personal experienced with
or indirect experience from student or associate Case Studies.  It should be acknowledged that while something may have worked for her,
a student, or a close associate of hers, everyone's body is 100% unique.  All information presented by Piper Jay should be done with this in mind.

MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
No information presented by Piper Jay should be mistaken for or used as substitute for professional medical advice.
If you have a serious medical or health issue, please consult with your Primary Care Physician (PCP) before proceeding with anything.

If you are not sure if you are doing something correctly, ask questions and get additional input from a person who has
experience with the technique before continuing (google doesn't count).  If you experience any form of discomfort,
pain or physical upset, discontinue whatever you are doing immediately and seek professional medical advice.
Yoga - when done correctly - is by definition a positive process.  It is the process of moving towards
that which brightens your mind, body and spirit.  If it what you are doing does not seem to be having this effect,
change what you are doing.

PREGNANCY DISCLAIMER
If you are pregnant, are trying to become pregnant, or become pregnant, you must tell Piper Jay immediately.
You can still do yoa while you are pregnant.  In fact, it's really good to do yoga while you are pregnant.
And it will be necessary to go over pregnancy modifications outside of regular class time so as not to interrupt the flow of things.
It will also be necessary for you to work closely with your Primary Care Physician (PCP) and OBGYN throughout your pregnancy.

When in doubt, don't do an exercise, and listen to your body above all else.  Piper Jay has never gone through a pregnancy herself,
and can only speak indirectly about it's effects.  She highly recommend her mentors Catherine Allen and Ann Hyde as fantastic
additional resources on this subject.
